You can easily add your own information to the database, or use preloaded pull-down menus. The program is easy to operate, though the number of entry fields to manage seems a bit overwhelming. You can add photographs of your vehicles and create a database of stripped parts.A number of handy tools and calculators--such as a finance tracker, fuel consumption calculator, and loan calculator--are also included. Moreover, the program offers a variety of reports, with a satisfying number of export formats, including XLS, HTML, RTF, TXT and CSV. Built-in car maintenance links allow you to quickly access sites when you're in search of fuel economy tips or car parts. The publisher claims that MyCar-Monitor is a freeware, but actually it's fully functional for only the first 10 launches. For full access thereafter, you have to send the publisher an e-mail and wait for your free activation code. Overall, MyCar-Monitor is a solid option for keeping track of general and maintenance data for vehicle owners.
