Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffFebruary 8, 2019Big photo-editing programs like Photoshop are great when you need to do a lot of work on your images, but sometimes you just need a simple tool that can handle cropping, rotating, and other basic editing functions. ExifPro lets users edit, organize, and share images without a lot of hassle. The program's interface is sleek and intuitive, with its major functions split into well-organized panes, all of which can be moved around within the interface or closed. The Folders pane lets users browse to specific image files, whereas the Images pane displays thumbnails of the images contained within selected folders. The Preview pane allows users to view selected images individually, and the Tools pane contains a palette of helpful utilities. Users can edit image metadata, create slideshows and HTML photo albums, resize images, tag images with keywords, export EXIF info, and much more. ExifPro's Help file is well-written and contains plenty of screenshots, although the program is so intuitive that many users may not find the Help file necessary. Overall, we found ExifPro to be useful and easy to master. We were particularly impressed with the customization options for the program's interface, which let users set the program up in the way that works best for them.ExifPro is free to try, but the trial version has a nag screen. The program comes as a ZIP file and installs politely, but it leaves a folder behind upon removal. We recommend this program to all users.
