About Solitaire

The world's most played card game. Build the four suits from ace to king and clear the table.

Solitaire sits in our Card Games collection on WeiNing Games. Like every game here it runs in the browser using HTML5, so there is nothing to install and nothing to wait for — open the page, tap play and you are in. Sessions are short enough for a break between classes or a commute, but the better you get, the more there is to chase.

How to play Solitaire

Move cards between columns to build descending sequences in alternating colours. Send aces to the foundations and build them up to king.

• Desktop: mouse and keyboard — click, drag or use the arrow keys.
• Mobile & tablet: tap, swipe or tilt depending on the title.
• Progress: most games save your best score or level on the device, so you can come back later.

Tips and tricks for Solitaire

• Reveal hidden cards before you move a card that is doing an important job.
• Keep one column empty if you can; it is the most valuable asset on the table.
• Clear aces to the foundations as soon as they become available.
